Pricing and Insurance Explained
While psychological testing is often not fully covered by insurance, some insurance plans offer partial reimbursement for services provided by out-of-network providers. Although we are not in-network with insurance companies, we are happy to provide a superbill and procedure codes if you’d like to explore out of network reimbursement. The price of the 30-minute virtual intake with Dr. Anya Scolaro, Psy.D. is $175. By the end of that appointment, you will understand the recommended testing options, such as deciding between the Stanford Binet or WISC-V for educational planning, and can decide if you’d like to proceed. Dr. Scolaro is a licensed psychologist that specializes in neuropsychological evaluation and diagnosis, and will guide you in getting the answers you are looking for - with 100% certainty.
What to Expect in a Psychological Evaluation
When you begin psychological testing with us, you can expect a thorough, individualized process designed to answer your specific questions. The length of testing will vary depending on the number of tests needed to gather the information you’re seeking. On average, you’ll meet with us 2-3 times, with each session lasting between 3-5 hours.
If you’re looking for diagnostic clarification or selective testing, the process will generally take less time. For a comprehensive psychological evaluation, more time will be needed to gather detailed information. Throughout the process, we’ll guide you every step of the way, ensuring you feel comfortable and informed. Afterward, you’ll receive a detailed report with clear recommendations, helping you move forward with confidence.
