Frequently Asked Questions

We are a self-pay practice and are not in network with insurance. Many clients come to us after struggling to find an in-network provider that takes insurance with the specialized training that they need. Our team is deeply experienced in working with OCD, anxiety and many other specialty areas—and we use evidence-based approaches and can also incorporate psychological testing for diagnostic clarification where needed to inform the treatment plan. If you ever feel like your therapist match is not quite the right fit, we will match you with a different provider on our team and they will know exactly where you left off, so you don't have to go through the process of finding another provider or starting over. If your goal is real progress with a provider who understands you, with no more starting over, we are the right fit.
The 30-min virtual intake with Dr. Scolaro (Clinical Director) is $175.00. The ongoing price of therapy is comparable to other clinical psychologists and therapists in New York. The cost per session varies based on the level of the provider you choose to work with and treatment complexity.
Please contact us or book a Free 15-Min Consultation to speak more about pricing.

Your first session is a 30-minute virtual intake with one of our clinical directors. We'll discuss what’s bringing you in, what you’re hoping to change or explore, and what kind of support would feel right. From there, we match you with a therapist who fits your needs—not just clinically, but relationally.

Most clients can begin within 1–2 weeks of completing their intake appointment. We maintain a no-waitlist model by carefully managing caseloads and offering virtual sessions across New York and New Jersey.

Psychological testing is a structured evaluation process used to assess mental health, learning, or behavioral challenges. It can support diagnosis (e.g., ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders) and help guide treatment, school accommodations, or self-understanding.
